A unique and outstanding tour of eight venues comes to the Costa Blanca in March and the shows will feature a fantastic Tribute to Karen Carpenter. Jackie Whyte has the exact voice and style of the superstar of The Carpenters who died at such a young age and she will take the audience through all of the songs that Karen's amazing style portrayed so well in the 70s. Jackie, who has been a singing sensation in Ireland for many years says "Karen had one of the most clear voices ever in music and she was simply a legend. I hope to illustrate some of her style as a perform some of her incredible songs".

The show will also feature an incredible performance by the Abba Girls. Made up of Jackie and Jukebox Legends very own Fiona McLean, they will sing the Abba songs you all know and love and they will amaze you as their powerful voices reach the notes and "hit the spot"!! This part of the show will also have a new feature for Jukebox Promotions events as they will offer a fun, exciting sing-a-long! Words will be available so if you need glasses to read, bring them along!! This will be a show The eight shows cover venues from Gran Alacant to Crevillente, Los Alcazares and areas in the middle and along the coast so, there's an opportunity to see this show somewhere near you!
Support for this show will be from Peter Day who will portray some great songs of the past - It's "bring on the memories" all the way with this great fund raising tour for the fabulous charity Help at Home (Costa Blanca). Pre show meals are available at most venues. Please ask venue for details.

We ran this course early 2011 for the members of the Torrevieja Digital Camera Club, and by popular request repeated it in October 2011 and January 2012.
The course runs Monday mornings for 8 weeks, at Lo Marabu Restaurant on the Lemon Tree Road, Quesada, and is aimed at beginners upwards, the emphasis being to understand the many features of your camera, and how they can be used to take better and more interesting photographs in all situations.
Make the Most of Your Photos
This course is a natural follow-on to 'Know Your Digital Camera - The Basics', and for people who want to learn how to use the computer to improve the quality of their photos and to achieve more creative results.
It covers using software to enhance colour, exposure, contrast, sharpness etc. as well as cropping to achieve better composition. Sessions on getting the best prints and creating Presentations follow. Emphasis is placed on practical work throughout.
