A Happy New Year everybody and let's hope for a more prosperous and lower handicap 2012. We were blessed today with good weather although very cold and the guest appearance of a couple of celebrities although after their very low scores I don't think we will see "Sandy Lyle" and "Freddie Laker" again! Today's competition (apart from being one sided) was Single Stablefords and for a change Mystery Pairs. Today's winners were (not "subo" who broke his tree wood - ha ha!)

Nearest the pin hole 4 : Bill Stobo
Longest drive hole 15 : Alan Craig
Overall winner (by a mile) Andy Brown 42 points (yes 42 points Mr Davies)
